SoftOrbits Watermark Remover uses a dedicated AI model to detect and remove watermarks. Another AI model is used for generative fill. We strongly recommend an AI-capable hardware to run these models, which includes a compatible video card. Without a compatible graphics card, watermark removal takes approximately 20 seconds versus nearly instant removal if a compatible GPU is present.
Currently, SoftOrbits Watermark Remover supports CUDA-compatible NVIDIA boards with at least 8GB of VRAM up to and including the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. We are working on adding Blackwell architecture support in near future.
AMD hardware is supported via ROCm software stack. All AMD boards compatible with ROCm are supported up to and including the RX 9070.
